About Us

The Greater Valley Group (GVG), an affiliate of ITC Holding Company, was incorporated in 2006 with the specific purpose of focusing on local developments in the communities near Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia located in West Point, Ga. Currently, The Greater Valley Group has over $100 million in residential and commercial real estate related projects underway. Although their ventures have expanded over time, the company remains focused on quality regional development in the Greater Valley Area, which includes the cities of Valley, Lanett and Lafayette in Chambers County, Ala. and West Point, Ga., which straddles Troup and Harris counties.

Current residential projects include: Riverside Estates, a new golf course community with 141 large wooded lots, The Overlook at Riverside, featuring 75 condominiums with golf course views and Quail Run, a master-planned community with 236 large lots with extraordinary amenities including pool and tennis courts which are all located in Chambers County, Ala. In addition, GVG also has developed Rose Hill, an equestrian community with minimum 5-acre lots in Troup County, Ga., and The Vistas, Apartments at the Venue, The Verandas,  and Crest Club, all of which are located in Valley, Ala.

The Greater Valley Group also owns and operates the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lanett, Ala. as well as the Holiday Inn Express in Valley, Ala. In addition the company is invested in numerous commercial real estate projects in the tri-county area including retail based The Shoppes at The Venue (100,000 square feet of retail) and the Landings at the Venue (61 acres for development).
